Hi Guys,
Finally got my 2nd "Galileo" knife done, this is my 7th overall knife I've made. I make everything in house from raw materials, cut out the blanks, profile, heat treat and do all the finishes.
Blade: Chad Nichols San Mai 3.9" hollow grind.
Frame: Bolster lock .200" thick 6al-4v titanium with a lizard skin finish on the bolster area, the scale area has been machined down to .060" to reduce weight and balance. Edges are 600 grit satin, chamfers are hand rubbed to 600 grit satin.
Scales: Westinghouse micarta with chamfered edges.
Pivot: Custom machined with a shuriken pyramid pattern, SS.
Backspacer: Custom milled pattern, 6al-4v titanium
Clip:Timascus with gold, purple and blue heat ano
