Hi folks. Its been awhile since I've posted (or made anything), but I'm back in the saddle so to speak. So heres the latest. I made it for the woman who sells me my firewood. She's always doing me favors and such so I wanted to make something for her as a thank you. Its 1084, forged, with about a 3 3/4 inch blade, flat ground, Ziracote handle slabs with a mosaic pin in the middle, I did some vine(ish) filework on the back. The sheath has a belt clip and I did my first attempt at a basketweave pattern on the leather. Not my best leatherwork, but she liked it.

OK, Well this would be the place where you looked at the picture, but I just noticed I am not allowed to post attachments for some reason. I'll have to find out why and get it straightened out. Sorry for the teaser..... I'll put up a pic as soon as I'm allowed.
