This has been a difficult project to get going and we apologize for the delays.

Here 's the latest:

I am meeting with Pelton next week in Arizona to hash out the final details on this project, as well as another project we're working on. As it stands now, the first 250 signed/serialized pieces will be sold by Pelton from his web site. He is having a new web site built especially for the DPX gear products. That will be linked from our site as well as the www.comebackalive.com site once it's live. We expect to be shipping HEST knives by the end of this month. Initially, the HEST knives will ship with removable Micarta handles. Once Shon gets caught up and gets the capsule mold built then the plastic capsule will be an optional feature that will fit all HEST knives. Once we have the HEST launched with all its configurations then other projects will be coming out.

Again, sorry for the delays but we're gettin' there!

Jeff

No, I'm serious....

If you look at Rowen on Google earth, you can see Shon outside raking up what looks like green leaves on the loading dock. Jeff had just pulled away in the dumptruck.:D

He starts the heat treat ovens with a stack of hundreds as tinder.

Is that money from the RAT knives? Here I was thinking it was leftover from his stint as a male model? Learn something new everyday. :D

Nowadays it's much cheaper to use 100 dollar bills to start fires than it is regular paper. Besides, Shon has so many 100s stacked in his warehouse he has to burn some just to make room for knives!

What are the "other projects " that are coming out, if I may be so bold to ask? I would like to know only so that I can plan and budget accordingly. I hear the little voice in my head all day long... must buy all the latest and greatest from Rat Cutlery ... so I have to listen to the voices, cant help it.

i plan on it, and if i could do it all at once i would, but i have another, more expensive hobby, and bills to pay.

At 18 i have finally realized why my parents were always bitching about money when i was younger.

Ill be picking one up, just got done picking up a few patches... thanks RAT, Rowan, and crew.

Thanks for the update Jeff. Based on the interest I'm seeing as a dealer, this is going to be a very popular item!
