Soooo, what's the latest HI khukuri variation to come out of BirGhorka these days?

An old HI knut wants to know!
 
I don't really know what's latest, but I'll tell you what I wish they made more of -- the Sher Attitude. I haven't seen one offered in a long time, but that's a knife I'd love to get.

Well Harry they've been out for a while now but check on the 17" Foxy Folly. And try to cabbage on to one if you can.:thumbup: :cool: :D
 
I picked up a 17" 23oz Foxy Folly by Sher on the exchange a few weeks ago; it's quite nice. The handle feels a bit thick to me, but I might really appreciate impact being distributed over the larger surface area if doing some heavy chopping. Workmanship is very good, and I like the wide fullered blade design.
 
A whole series of small blades...simply called R1, R2, etc.

Perhaps one of the guys has a photo?

TSK...TSK...Harry,doesn't make any difference..you can't get in on the SHARK FRENZY anymore...these new young Kukri guys would eat ya alive!:D
Naw...I shouldn't say that...go ahead..try...it will be the same as it used to be...you ALWAYS lost to me...now it's these NEW Kukri guys turn & I'm glad
to see they love the Kuks as much as the OLD GUYS! By the way...there is ONE guy that reminds me of DURBA...BWAAAAAAA!Wish UB was here to see this!:D

¥vsa, I believe I already have one kukhuri that is identical to the Foxy Folly in Skyler's picture thread. Picked it up as one of Uncle Bill's UBBOTD a few years ago. Nice khuk, well balanced and mean chopper/slicer.:thumbup:

Harry I wasn't aware that any Dui Chiarras, double fullered, khukuris were made before the Foxy Folly, besides the YCS that is. The 17" Foxy Folly was what I had in mind when I designed the YCS.:o

These top two are pics of my full size FF with the scabbard that Terry Sisco fixed up for me. The two kardas are old leather handled knives that I took artistic license with and rehandled in Sycamore...
The full sized FF is basically a camp knife in that it's so big and heavy although it would be all a man would ever need if the shtf.:cool: :D

Perchance do you have any pics of yours? I would love to see what you sharked away from everyone else.;) :p

Yep, Yvsa, exactly like what you've posted - I believe it was by Bura himself...pretty sure it was not Durba otherwise Tsimi would be royally put out....;)

No pics available - yet! It's at my mom's place where I have some of my stuff stashed...

Are the Kamis (Sarge especially) ever going to start producing Nessmuks?

Nessmuks, and Axes/Tomahawks have LONG been on my HI wish-list.

(BTW, the R-5 is :thumbup: )
