It's a panasonic FZ35.These are some of the first shots.I don't even have macro figured out yet.

Watch out with angled close shots in macro. As you see when comparing the two photos, the first makes the knife blade and handle look entirely different ( shorter and wider) than they are in the second.

Great work. I too enjoy the ball peen texture on the guard.
