Give me any advice you think fits please I need it!

This is from a 10" file, wood is Go Mike's poison black wood, pins are aluminum 1/4 inch, thong tube stainless, hollow ground.

The only thing I don't like is that its not mine. The pins are a little crooked or is it just the pic? Nice job on number 7.

I think they are ok here's a different shot. Should be same distance from the spine when I made them but I could have ground it down too much when shaping the handle... tell me what you think now, if they are off I'll have to make sure that doesn't happen again.

I would have lowered the back of the handle a little bit, but other than that, it looks great! I love Black Poison wood! (Sadly, my current batch isn't as pretty as my first (this block was from the first))

EDITED TO ADD: I think the pins are the same from the spine, but the wood grain makes an illusion of being lower down. And, the distance from the bottom of the handle is different over both pins.

Yep it was the pic and the handle shape that made it look a little off. Looks good to me.

Beautiful work. I like it.

I noticed however, handle end around lanyard hole should be handled carefully, is it right?

Anyway, I think this is a very fine knife regardless of my (maybe pointless) concern.

I'm not sure I understand, do you mean that the lanyard hole might be sharp or could snag things? Thank you for the kind words nontheless

The lanyard hole could be a little further into the knife, it is a little close to the end. I could also see the end of the handle coming down a little to be even with the part coming down for the finger grove Cheers Ron.

he means since there is so little behind material the lanyard hole it might be weak and break if you were to say, drop it, hit it with a baton ect. but i think the small amout of steel behind should be more than strong enough.
