latest knife, newbe

Nice, I think you need a little more definition to your grinds or a little finner finish, but a nice shape and functional design. Should sereve you well. Would love to see the rest of the haft and what is the steel?

Ya, I'm with Will-lets see the whole thing:) BTW - I couldn't resist clicking on your other pics , that is a DANDY Whitetail !! Giant Buck-Walhanger etc , etc  OT , I know , but I just had to say it !

Let's see some more pics! So far, it isn't looking too shabby for one of your first pieces, about ten times better than my first work! :D

Ahha! A traditional bowhunter! Welcome!
I've been a traditional bowhunter since I was a 18 back in '72. (do the math!)
9 out of 10 of my knife customers are traditional bowhunters since I advertise in Traditional Bowhunter magazine.
A really cool group of people.
Somethin' special about traditional bowhunters.
It was bowhunting that lead me to knifemaking! There I sat one day with a deer on the ground I had shot with my custom recurve, with arrows I make myself, fletched with wild turkey feathers, and I was field dressing it with a knife I bought at Wal Mart! I thought, "What's wrong with this picture?"
Now when I walk into the woods, there's a knife in my pack I made myself.
I know you're proud of that knife, and you should be.
There's no other feeling like it.
You just made one of man's oldest tools.
Now go make another one!
