What do you think? designed by me with french curves. The steel is 1084. The handle is cocobolo with red spacers. the overall length is 5.5". Whe you put it in your hand it fits perfectly with just the blade exposed. I put more of a pointy tip on this one as the last had to much belly and wasnt suited for coring the anus on deer(only deer hunters will know what I mean). It so small you can reach into the cavity do what you need to do. Any comments? Thanks for all your replies in advance.

Yes it is. use it with the accelerator and it works great. Fills in the grain very well. it made the Cocobolo almost prizm like.

And that drop point also makes it great for sliting the hide to field dress. Make its brother with a skinner tip and you'll have a fantastic hunting set.

That's great looking work and very practical! Really a handy little knife.

What is the excellerator you use with the super glue. I would like to try a super glue finish. So far I've been using oils. Any other little tips for applying the super glue finish will be greatly appreciated.

I really like that one, guy! And it would not be poking you in the ribs while carrying, real comfortable to carry! I don't beleive I have seen that design before, either. Your design?

Yes, it is my design. I try to be original in my designs. I have 10 or 15 styles waiting to be made on paper. As far as the super glue I use a product called "hot stuff" not the gel. the "accelerator" is called just that. I cut off the tips of latex gloves and put one on my index finger and use that to spread it. You have to move quick or it will dry. I than use 600 grit to finish it out buff it with 1500 and than use green buff compound on the wheel. It comes out like glass. It would really be better suited for a more absorbant wood than Cocobolo but it did work well.

Blackboogers, have you tried the Hot Stuff Odorless ? I just went to that website you showed and it showed it. Thankyou, and real nice designs, guy.

The Accelerator is more than faster, its instantly dry the second you spray it. The odorless would be better, the stuff I use is very irritating to your nose and eyes. I bought mine at a Rocklear's woodworking store. Any upper end woodworking store would have it.
