Latest news. Bura is back at it.

Outstanding news about Bura. As it's been already said "You can't keep a good man down". I for one(as is everyone)am very happy that he's doing better.

Uncle Bill, Is his mark still the Pennant or the Begging Bowl???I forget which is which.Maybe Bura's was the Begging Bowl and Durba was the Pennant,or is it Kesar's????:DFRANK

Burha's mark is the Nepal Crescent Moon (I don't know which mark you're calling the begging-bowl) and now also the initials L.B. (for Lal Bahadur, his real name) in roman letters.

Beo, Thanks ;) I've read in past post that the creasant shape could also be the beggers bowl, something to do with the traveling monk i think.:D

I'm always glad to hear that someone that had been stricken with a disability has overcame it!!!!:D

Gives me hope for myself as I won't be giving up either even if it does take me forever to do something that used to take me a day or less!!!!:footinmou

Good On Bura!!!!

Best news I have so far today.

Bura's fighting spirit should be an example for us all.

Hope Bura knows he has plenty of friends over here at the HI Forum. :)

In some ways we owe Bura for the opportunity to help him. Without his illness we wouldn't have reached into our hearts and pocketbooks for a good cause I expect someone upstairs is keeping track of.

What we did for Bura, or learned from helping him may be the feather that tilts the scales of our souls to swing to the positive side.

I've ( seemed like always ) been humbled and embarrased when an act of kindness I've done is responded to. And scared by how much difference it makes to another when I've almost brushed the situation off and could so easily just ignored it.

The forum is a better place for his illness and returning into health.

I don't know what else to say except :D :D :D

Good to hear Burra is back to work. I think that it was common for master smiths to use strikers even before the advent of power hammers.
