I made this one from O1 tool steel. I finished the entire blade in black oxide and polished it to a charcoal grey then sealed it.

The blade is 3-1/2" long and wrapped in kangaroo leather. BTW, those skulls are hand carved from ivory and originated from Tibet.
 
that is a sweet blade!! The grinds look super-clean and I'm loving the wrap. :thumbup:
 
That ought to jump right out of your hand. Nice job on the braid! I atempted doing one simular a few years back and would always get mixed. To many over's and under's.
 
Great wrap on the handle, looks really cool. Kangaroo leather is great, I made a stock-whip out of a hide once, greased the strands up and went to work - loved every minute of it, but never even thought about it for handle wrappings/knife furniture. You've just inspired me to try it out on a sheath! thanks mate :D
