This is for the son of a friend of mine in Maine. Dad is a lobsterman so this was made with the sea's proximity in mind. First time working with stainless and G10. I had a few embellishments planned but sadly time did not permit. Now it needs a sheath. I'll post pics of the whole thing when it's done.
Do you think he will like it?

Blade length: 5 7/8” OAL: 11”
Grind: Flat
Steel: Stainless CPM154
Handle: G10
Guard: Stainless (304)

Its a beauty.Utility id say.Much more than a filet.Great job,he'll be thrilled for sure.

Dude, that turned out great! Filet... utility... perhaps a bit of both?

Flutility?

Kind of a catchy name, but doesn't really have a positive ring to it... ; )

I'd say you nailed that one, bud!

I agree, it has great flow and looks like it can earn its keep. You chose excellent materials as well. Homerun!

Very classy, good to see you got it done. He's going to love that thing.

I want to see how you did the pin, too...

Truly a nice piece. Great work indeed. I have a few questions:

How did you polish the G10?

How thick is the blade at the spine?

How thick at the edge?
