Thanks! Yes, W2 blade steel, my mosaic bolsters and mammoth bark scales.

WOW!!! Don, another beauty!!! Great combination of materials, and design!

PS - I am only slightly jealous of your ivory stash...

To me, this piece - in this combination of materials - would be a grail knife. Hard to pay any better compliment, Don. It's a beauty.

I'll second betzner's "grail knife" comment. Wonderful, unique design and combination of materials and workmanship.

Don, it's amazing to see you go from the most traditional slip joint to scary tactical inside of a week. For those who say a maker has to make one or the other to market himself, you prove it false. Two diametrically opposed knife styles with your own artistic style obvious in both. Impressive!

That's beautiful. I never noticed those new little guys in the smaller tiles. I'd love to see em up close.

I can only echo the sentiments expressed. I think that in the future, those looking back will mark this as one of the signatures of our time.
It's part art knife, part tactical folder and seems to capture the spirit of everything in between.

Another outstanding Scary Tac! Beautiful piece, love the ivory. I'll tell you what is scary...the amount of steel you have packed between those scales.

Those Tacs of yours totally mean business!
