By posting that, you are making light of the events of the 11th, of every man, woman, and child who lost their life. That is not funny, and that is sure as hell not clever. Familys lives have been torn apart and you use it as an excuse to insult someone.

Normally I don't waste my time, but this time I can't let this go.
Did you lose any family or friends in the attack? I doubt it, otherwise you wouldn't disrespect their memories like that.

I try to respect everyone, but for that comment, you are lower than snake s#it.

I have given in blood and donations to the victims of the 11th. Don't give me s#it about not helping. I was comparing Don Rearic's fanaticism to that of another fanatic not making light of the victims. Don't twist my words.

Be carefull of your comments. I don't like them very much. Other people don't like them very much. Obviously we aren't heading down the proper path. Please edit the "bin laden" comment and refrain from attacking Americans with such slander. As to whether or not you like EKI, that's your business. Just don't step over the line. Also, try posting your real name. It adds a touch to your comments.
 
WHOA! You know, I do not choose people to respect very easily. But when I find myself among the likes of Don R, Ken C, John H, Nyeti, and several others here, I can't help but feel like I am standing in the shadows of greatness in regards to some of the things I am deeply interested in. So many people here have had the patience to help a little no one like me advance my knowledge, ask ignorant questions, and even throw out an irreverent joke once in a while.

Now somebody comes in here and equates one of my friends to that scumbag mass murderer. How is that right? What are we to expect next, that some of us get compared to Dylan Kliebold or Aaron Harris, the Columbine High killers? This is so far over the line, I can't believe it.

Ken, I am really a very patient person and have put up with rogue's comments with little response, but this goes well beyond what any of us should put up with. I implore you to do the right thing here and shut him down.

I too am upset at the comments posted by Rogue_Spear, and believe enough sh*t has been flung from both sides of the fence. Frankly, I'm afraid of the collateral damage this thread may cause.

One thing that I've come to learn over the years is that everyone has something to contribute, however minor. If you learn from one of those opinions, then you have profited. Maybe one day, the Rogue may have something interesting to say and some of us will learn something, [I for one want to hear all the pros and cons about Emerson Knives, I will form my own opinion].

I obviously have not been around as long as many of you. I consider it a priveledge to find myself in the company of the 'Suspects'. I have learned so much about EKI and about knives in general, from many of you. KC, I would never presume to tell you what to do, but I think there has been enough 'banning' around here for one day, (sorry Scott, Kevin and you too DR). Just my humble opinion...

I've been thinking about this garbage all night and I've got to say, Rogue Spear, I should have banned you when I first saw your post this afternoon. There is a line that is not to be crossed and you VERY clearly danced right across it and then tried to weasel word your way out of it when called on it.

I hesitated to ban you originally because it is well known that Don Rearic is a very good friend of mine and I didn't want to appear biased. However, it occurs to me that being my friend should not mean he has to put up with this kind of massive insult when I wouldn't allow any other BFC member to be subjected to the same thing.

Because I hesitated originally, I feel that it would be inappropriate to ban you now, but consider yourself warned.

So just in case my earlier post wasn't clear enough;

Rein yourself in or you will be history at BFC.
Screw up one more time and you will be gone.
