Latest one off the bench. 4" closed, fossil walrus, W2 blade, SS bolsters liners & shield. This might end up being my
personal carry, but it's almost too nice to keep. Started it when Cliff Parker was here learning slip joints last week.
Cliff talked into darkening the blade and spring. I hope he has his photographed.

Nice one, Don. I think I'm destined to get one, maybe in pearl, that I will actually keep - and maybe even carry.

Fantastic Don! That's probably my favorite single blade slip joint pattern and you do them SO perfectly. Nice material selection too.

I like the contrast that the dark blade provides.

Lovely work, Don.

I agree with John about the contrast, looks perfect. To me, it gives the knife a more aggressive tone, rather than dressy as is the case with a lot of ivory slippies.

I particularly like the black liners and that gorgeous swedge. I completely loathe that shield and always have, but that's all personal preference. :p

Carry it!

Everything seems to work together so well..!
VERY nice.

Wonderfully done, as always superb craftsmanship and I must say without hesitation the most
beautiful handle material.

That's really nice,

I think you should carry it for awhile.

That way when I ask you what your carrying, I can run for the door when you hand it to me.

:)

Your only chance of keeping that as a personal carry would be to not post it on the internet and never take it out of your pocket at a show. :D Superb.
