If I think an opinion is inherently disrespectful (such as the comment I initially took issue with), then it isn't sensible for me to respect it (the opinion). What I respect is a person's free will to come to whatever opinion they will. Doesn't mean I think the opinion is right, nor that I respect the opinion, but I respect that once I have said my piece, people will consider my words or not. But I see no need to go beyond expressing (even if a tiny bit more than mildly) my disagreement with said opinion. In other words, I stated my position, end of story... or it could be the end of the story, unless people want to keep the debate going. I am sure there is no shortage of people willing to deride my traditional position on modesty, and the inherent dignity and privacy of human intimacy.

I am always willing to agree to disagree, move on, and remain on amicable terms.

I understand the need for higher values, but I also understand the strength of Beauty. That's why I don't take part in such discussions. It's like a fight between the right hand and the left hand. Should one hand be dominant? Sure. But the other hand also has its right to exist, specially if no actual harm is done.

That's why I don't take part in this kind of discussions. Either I am too stupid, or too sage for that. Not that it matters of course.
