Just finished shaping & hand sanding the scales today. Took me about 4 hours. Which didn't seem too bad a time, considering only one arm/hand to use.:p Still needs sharpened/cleaned up, etc. This is actually the FIRST knife I've done with liners. Kinda strange, I know. Liners just haven't been my thing. This was the first time I was asked. My customer wanted yellow because of his eyesight. His name is Barry & he owns Rockhopper Fishing. And he REALLY likes the knives I build. He has purchased 5, including this one, & I gave him one as a gift. A 7" fishing/boning knife. The first I built. He is at an annual fishing trip at Montauk this week, using that knife for the first time.

Blade is 3.5" CPM3V(like most of my knives) @ 60hrc, scales are Lignum Vitae w/ yellow G10 liners, & copper Corby bolts. [/URL]
