Hi All,

I've done some research but none of the reviews are really knife specific.

I am in the market for a metal lathe, I have been turning pivots etc on a rotary table and I can't get the quality finish I want.

I will be doing titanium and SS pivots, and pivot collars for flipper knives and was wondering if anyone had a good suggestion for a bench top lathe.

I was looking at the Grizzly G0768 or the G0765. Does anyone have any experience with knife specific parts on these lathes or have a suggestion for another benchtop lathe?

Thanks

i dont have any experience with those lathes, but for small parts like those you will want something you can use collets with.

G0768 should be ok.
It has MT3 mount, then You can use ER32 type collet.

But in my opinion better option is to find a nice used small lathe ;)

Look on what Stan Wilson working :P
