Latrobe DT20CV

Anyone here have any experience with Latrobe DT20CV? I have heard that this steel will out perform D2 and S30V in edge retention. Thanks

From the Latrobe site, it looks like the toughness is only equal to 440C. I don't think it will be on my list-too hard to grind and heat treat for the gain in wear resistance. I think S30V is a far better choice for my use.

One of the biggest users for 20CV is Rick Hinderer. I've heard it's easier to finish than S30V. It probably has better edge retention than S30V but poorer toughness.
