For sale is my Kershaw Launch 3 in the limited run blue anodized aluminum handles with black DLC coated blade. This knife was one of the color variants Kershaw produced last year as a departure from the basic black on black model, I have heard rumors from good sources that the production total for this model was around 500 pieces. I bought this knife new from BladeHQ.
Knife is a light user, I have carried it at work for about 6 weeks and used it for light duty tasks (I work in an office so an envelope is about the toughest thing it has cut). Condition is excellent, the only wear is a small mark on the corner of the left side handle in the anodizing, it's purely cosmetic and could probably be rubbed away if one wanted to. The knife didn't come with the sharpest factory edge so I touched it up on my Sharpmaker (Diamond, fine, ultra fine stones) and it is razor sharp at 40 degrees inclusive now. I also have tied a tan paracord lanyard on it, the buyer can take it or leave it as they wish. There are no scratches in the DLC coating, anything that appears to be is just reflection of fingerprints or something on the coating (DLC is super tough). Action is very fast and hard, lockup is excellent with no play and blade centering is perfect down the middle. Knife comes with original box and plastic bag with manual etc.
All in all, this is a really nice version of the Launch 3 in a color that is very versatile and a change from basic black. It is a really rich medium blue that reminds me of a pool on a nice summer day! Knife is getting hard to find and sells for around $100 new but since I used it some I will sell it for:
