LB Battle Pappy!! Let's do it!

An updated battle pappy would be sweet. I´d love to see it with the handle of the team gemini but with a bit of that classic look to it.

I've got to go against the tide here.
A new Battle Pap would be great, but it definitely needs to remain a hidden tang or maybe a through tang with a small, tasteful pommel.
Lengthen the handle a bit and give it a good Wheeler-esque shape, and decrease the belly at the front, plus a shsrpened swedge to aid in penetration and back cutting.
THAT is a knife!!!
 
That is a MUST-HAVE model...

Light Brigade, Heavy Brigade, Charge of the Light Brigade, rat-tailed, full tanged, orange tang...just bring it-- put a Battle Pappy up on the website next Wed & I'll slap leather so fast Marshall Dillon would soil his dungarees...:cool:

Imagine a Battle Pappy in Competition Finish....oink! oink! oink? <cranium EXPLODES> :eek:

Same thoughts here. Been saving for more ASH-1. This Pappy, full tang, could change things. A bowie is a large, quick handling knife..... Gotta keep that aspect of it.... Just my 2 cents.
 
Gentlemen, the BP was a piece that was available for awhile. It was not only from AG Russell. I had a few. The one Tom has came from me at cost cause it was a piece that was going to be a standing order piece back when Jerry initially released it. Then it was discontinued due to a screw up with the CNC codes. Its only reason I let mine go cause they were going to be available for a long time.

There are some out there.... just not many cause most like me thought oh well I will buy one later, but then they were gone. :(
 
Correction.^^^ The Battle Pappy I have was pre-ordered at the A.G. Russell show in Arkansas. The knife I got from Trevor was an "Urgent Fury" or whatever it's called.

I agree. I just really want one almost no matter what happens to it as long as it got its original beauty
