Lb7 dp

Is the LB7 drop point a serial numbered knife? Why was this design issued and is it more sought after than the traditional LB7? I rarely see them. Thinking of buying an LB7 to put next to my LB8.

being very biased to the LB series i say definitely get a LB 7, since it came out 3 years prior to the LB 8 along with the LB 1, LB 5.( http://www.collectors-of-schrades-r.us/pricelist/images/1981-PRICELIST.pdf) also the LB 8 came out in both brass and nickel bolsters. then there is the LB 3 a year later and the LB 2 came out in ? ( i have seen these knives but so far can't find starting date in price list.) the LB 8 and LB 3 last year on the price list was 1995.

Check out Dale's chart over on AAPK. Hes got almost all the UH OT and many of the other knives dated.
