LB7 serial number question

I recently got an older, 1979 production, LB7 marked SCHRADE USA LB7, in big letters, serial 772858. Now the strange thing is I have another that is marked SCHRADE+ USA LB7, in smaller letters, serial 746517. Both are 4 pin. Is there any reason the older one would be SCHRADE+ and the newer one just SCHRADE. Were they both in production at the same time?

Also, has the LB7 serial number list been update recently?

Best Regards to all

Thanks for the reply THAWK. It's stamped LB7. And thanks for the links. I hadn't seen the first and was wondering if the second had ever been updated.
I'll have my wife take a couple of pictures and see if I can figure out how to post them.

Ok, it seems I can't post any pictures. But one other thing I did notice while taking the pics was that the Schrade+ blade seened to be wider. It is. At the point where the blade drops above the nick the Schrade+ is a full 1/16" wider that the plain Schrade.
Now that might be due to sharpening of the Schrade, but it also just looks wider overall.

i looking at my LB7's i have noticed that there is a big variation in blades. from the location of the notch to release blade whatever that is called to the shape. some might be due to sharpening like you said but saying that some have the appearance of not having been touched. I was wondering if they did indeed vary the shape of the blade depending of what run was being done?
