LCC size opinions and observations

I guess a Benchmade 330 could fit your needs.
As for the LCC, I think it is a great knife as it is. I have one and I love it. I just feel that a small version of the knife would be good also. I like tactical style knives but I work in an environment where a big knife (the LCC is not mid-sized!)is inappropriate (university professor).

I want an Lcc bad but my state limits me to 3" blade for carry so it wouldnt make much sense for me to buy it and that really sucks !!

Like Cut Finger, I think the Benchmade 330 Mel Pardue would fit your needs for a Gent's folder perfectly. ATS-34 2.25" Blade, 3.5" closed, G10 with titanium bolsters, no clip, weight is just 1.4 ounces. Best deal i've seen for this knife is at skylands ($65). Check out this link: http://bobcat.nji.com/skylands/products/benchmade/bm330.htm

William Henry makes a selection of truly premium Gent's folders but the price is daunting. But if price is no object...

There was an earlier discussion on Gent's folders on Bladeforums, try this: http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum54/HTML/002729.html

If the price isn't a problem, you can't go wrong with a William Henry CF Lancet. Also, Koji Hara now offers a couple of "production" folders in the 2 1/2" range that look interesting; KnifeArt and ChaiCutlery both carry them (if anyone has handled them, I'd be interested in hearing more about these folders).
