Gigone- How do you like that style of thumb hole ? I've seen quite a few with that rounded off rectangular shape but I've never owned one. It looks a little small as to where only the tip of your thumb may work to open it, is it comfortable to open ?

I've had quite a few knives with a very similar design.

I really enjoy this style of thumb hole. On this particlar knife; it takes a very small portion of the tip of my thumb to open it. Very very easy to open and close. Comfortable and smooth isn't the word for it! ! Amazing how little effort it takes....

I've had others (with a similar design) that were extremely hard to open. The problem was (always) the small size of the opening in the blade and the amount (and location) of the relief in the scales.

The opening in the blade, on this knife, is 9/32" wide and 11/18" long.

This is one cool knife!
