Hello addicts just wanted to share the new spalted maple with everyone. This my second LE and I am really hooked now, the materials Chris uses are the finest i've seen.

I'm actually typing this as the pics are uploading

I have had many knives and I can honestly say the mighty Idaho made Sebenza is my favorite.:D

Enjoy.

That is awesome news.

Every time I get one of Chris's knives I am just completely blown away, and have to have more.

Nice knife, really love the wood they used on it. But... looking at the picture, or it may be the orientation of the picture, the Idaho made stamp looks upside down...

Is the surface pitted or completely smooth? I know most Maple woods are pitted.

The wood is stabilized so I would assume that they are smooth. All my LE's are smooth.

For the most part it is smooth, there are some small areas with very minor pitting. It is very hard to see though.

I'm still a little confused about the orientation of the Idaho made engraving, it does seem odd. Oh well.

Next up Box Elder Burl....... where o where are you hiding.....:D

I'll trade you. :D

Very nice Sebenza you have there, I think I may have to scour some forums to find me one just like it.

Beautiful! I don't know if I'd part with custom Hinderers for it, but they'd definitely make good partners!

I have more of them.:D

The Hinderer's are going towards a new 1911.
