LE 2010 Spalted Maple

I have more of them.:D

The Hinderer's are going towards a new 1911.

I gotta admit, I'm jealous. I almost PM'd you about a week before you put the slicer grind XM on the exchange asking how much it ran you and where you got it but changed my mind thinking it was probably more than I was willing to spend, and I was right :D

Question on the Idaho Made stamp on your LE though, it looks almost like it has a sheen to it or some coloring from the angle of the shot. Does it?

I think it is just the lighting. I can't really tell with out some kind of magnification, which I don't have. I see what your talking about though.

I have the same one on order and it is going on a tour on the UPS brown truck :D

Large LE, Swedge, Double thumb lugs and Spalted Maple. I haven't see this wood before on a LE. Looks very nice IMHO

Hello addicts just wanted to share the new spalted maple with everyone. This my second LE and I am really hooked now, the materials Chris uses are the finest i've seen.

Mine arrived yesterday and like you I am thrilled. The Spalted Maple is beautiful with fabulous color contouring and the fit and finish as good as you are ever likely to see.

In years to come those who missed out on the 2010 knife will kick themselves that they never ordered one when they had a chance..........

Enjoy!:)

Nice set you have going there!

2008 I got the Large LE Thuya and in 2007 both the Large and Small LE in Mammoth Ivory Bark. 2007 was an outstanding year for the Ivory Bark IMO. I still carry a small LE 2006 Maka Wood.

I will get some pics together soon :D

Neil @ True North Knives listed his LE 2010 Sebenzas today, and I managed to snag a Small/Large pair with exquisite Spalted Maple Burl Inlays (CR8226 and CR8216).

Thanks for the kind comments guys.

I have been on a tear the past couple of years with more of a custom knife focus. Got to say, recently getting a Jerzee Devil Large Sebenza and this Spalted Maple LE have renewed my love of this classic production knife

.

Today I opened my 2010 large Spalted Maple. Its a real beauty. Pictures when I get my house back together. I'm having a remodel done on my house.

Sweet!
You just inspired me to dig mine out, truly amazing knives and so smooth.
I think it's time to throw my small limited Seb. in to my EDC rotation.
