LE and Custom Shop Busse's

Jaxx, So the custom shop pieces would as a whole be more rare. Thanks,

Yes, this is most likely the case. However, rarity doesn't always mean worth more. I have many one-off's, a large number of them made by Jerry himself, however, they still may not pull the price on the secondary market that a SHBM will. Go figure.....

Honestly, I really don't understand this. You can find some very rare pieces out there that are selling close to their original retail from the shop. (that are several years old) This is good for me at the moment because I can find some nice older pieces without the huge mark up

I like to look for unusual pieces, and unusual pieces that may have been made from a blank that they are no longer using. (ie SHBM variants or variants that have come from those blanks)

:D:D

They don't call Eric the Bully for nothing. He is a MOD and bans folks who do not hand over their Busse blades :-)

Better not post pictures of your good stuff...

Thanks for the up front advice Dwaine. I was wondering how he came about his collection, And why he was known as the Bully.
He does'nt show at your door or stalk you does he? :(

Rare, yes, but as Eric pointed out, it may not be more valuable in the future. Many Custom Shop pieces are best thought of as collector grade. If you try to resell, you may well find that the market for a unique CS Busse is rather small, and you might not even recoup your investment.

So buy what you like, but do not assume that the value will always increase.

Resinguy that sounds like sound advice. Thank you and to everyone thats helped out with my questions on this subject.
