So I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on at least one, but can't decide which.

Definitely gonna be a user, possibly as the backpacking knife I've been looking for. Only thing I've read about that concerns me about the LE is I've heard the paper grips aren't that grippy.

Thoughts on what you would do in my shoes?

Can't wait to get one of these!!:thumbup:

I am going with an LE first. Then I will start ordering CG's.

That is my plan:)

CG no question. I like the performance of convex grinds better, and the CG is thinner, making it lighter to carry for backpacking.

Plus the LE costs way too much money.

I can only recommend you get an LE. Or a CG. Or both.

When in doubt, get both.

I ordered two CGs and one LE.

My kids are gunna have to work to pay there through college now.

CG all the way, the LE is way to much for me.

blk on blk or even tanker grey blade with tan handle.

Its going to be a nice light blade. Wonder what the weight of the CG is?

At some point I'd love to see the CG offered in double cut. LE looks awesome, but I'd want the GC specs, uncoated.

I ordered 2 CG, Tanker Gray/Black Canvas and Sage/Tan Canvas. :)

Im with you there.

Personally I love the blade on all of em, bt the handle grooves really don't appeal to me :( Ill be passing on this guy sadly

Both awesome choices!!!!:thumbup::cool:

Thanks man. :D

The wait won't be that big a deal this time, waiting on my CGFBM to return from the SPA and my last Tank Buster, DC Black/Tan to get here. :D

So the 8 Weeks or so will be no problem. :)

stop hurting yourself figuring it out, just get both :) otherwise you'll kick yourself in the ass later...

CG - I prefer the thinness and I cant justify an additional $250 for satin and handles I dont really like... I'd rather put the $250 towards another hg55 :D

I went with the CG this time. I love Satin INFI, just couldnt justify the price difference on this one. Maybe before they disappear I will go after an LE also. Ill have to see how the CG feels and chops first.

+1

Exactly.

I think I'll be going for a CG, and have that be my first attempt a stripping a blade :)

I've been waiting for a Busse machete, and this one looks pretty good!

CG (Tanker + Black Canvas) here, with soon to be ghetto satin...

I like the thinner blade, the convex grind, and the price of the CG.

if Blaze Orange G10 was offered as an upgrade, I'd have paid for it.

otherwise, I'm totally satisfied and happy with my first Mistress. ;)

The CG looks like an awsome knife. I love the convex grind. I wonder is the edge convexed as well?
