Doubtful .....most of the buyers on this forum have no clue what quality is, Example: I have a Stromberg/Styrefors knife listed for $850 when Bladegallery has a similar piece listed for $2700. If its not some Tactical folder or some big Rambo looking chopper their not interested. Most of my real high end pieces like my loveless's I just send out to Nordic Knives for consignment....

Well, not everyone is in the market for an $850 knife, even if it's well under market.

I think we have a pretty quality group of people in the traditionals clique here.

It's a totally different world than modern folders. It just is what it is.

This is like a classic muscle guy being mad that other people are into modern Italians and high tech Japanese cars.

Do they all go vroom vroom? Heck yeah! Just different strokes for different folks.

Tactical folders don't do it for me either but it doesn't mean the people here are unintelligent or ill informed.

Lastly, the traditional folks here have a strong penchant for classic American, with a smaller taste for classic German (made in the American tradition). While your knives are nice, French stuff rarely does well here. It's just personal preferences and not a judgement on your wares or taste.

Or just take better pictures for that matter. Your photos aren't very clear and only show one side. In addition the shot of the knives themselves are rather small. Good pictures almost always gets a sale. (of course depending on the knife and price) I have been interested in Le thiers recently and from what I've seen they're beautiful knives. Just take better shots.

First, this is a "For Sale" section where people sell items....not your personal opinion page. Second, I am putting some items up for sale and I don't really care if they sell or not. Third, People who are serious buyers and know me (Because I have been in the industry for 35 years/9 years on this forum) always send me a message. If your not seriously interested...just move along.

Might have been interested if I saw the person I would be dealing with wasn't so arrogant and rude. Makes me doubt a happy ending if by chance something goes wrong.
People here were trying to help you sell these knives, and this was your response. Nice.

The reason I ask people to email me for Pics directly.....In the past POS Scrupulous scumbags would steal my pics and try to Broker deals on other forums and websites. This way I know exactly who has pictures of Guns, Knives, High end Luxury watches and Vintage Cars that I am selling .....any other question

Great sales approach for a "35 year" veteran. I BUY american classic slip joints yet when I saw a Thiers here with great pics I BOUGHT IT.
