That is some outstanding grinding Phillip! I know that you did that before you had your third cup of coffee in the morning. I wonder how many people appreciate just how difficult it is to make a knife like that: it is necessary to make both sides the same and still keep the grind line right down the middle. I can't compliment you enough on this one.

I'll take it per our PM and I'll take a leather sheath for it for the extra $50.

Thanks Ted

Beautiful knife. I hate to sound like an idiot, but what exactly does "ground" mean? I understand "forged" and "stock removal". Wish I had $500 sitting around!

Ground= To wear down, polish, or sharpen, by friction; to make
smooth, sharp, or pointed; to whet, as a knife or drill;
to rub against one another, as teeth, etc.
[1913 Webster]

Nice work Phillip. was the bronze sword a practice run for this one. You are gretting great keep it up. Jim

I just got this with the sheath Phillip made for me. It is much nicer than the photos show and the balance is really sweet. I'm very glad I jumped on this one. Thanks Phillip!!

Hi Ted! Thanks for the review! I'm glad you like it.
Fwiw, I used it to chop on a 2X4, and it held up fine. I kind of designed it to be used for cutting weeds and brush, so I think it will do fine for that.

Enjoy!
