Leaf spring

Do you guys know of a web site that says what type of steel auto manufactures use for leaf springs. I found this leaf spring on the side of the road. It is pretty heavy, you can tell it broke. on the back side it also says Ford R 045 3

Usually Leaf Springs Are 1060

1060 would make an ok chopper right?

Could also be 5160 or 6150 or 1080 or 1084. All would make a decent chopper.

I am pretty sure that is RSLS-B steel, which is virtually identical to ORTS steel.
