No, I don't expect to ever make anymore grips for production knives. The grips don't sell like they once did and production costs have gone through the roof. I have to make a profit to stay in business. It costs a lot of money to keep my workshop running. Projects like this Leafstorm 824 are what I will be doing in the future. Working with the folks in China has been one of my most enjoyable experiences in well over 20 years in the knife business. It's a real pleasure to work with skilled professionals who get the job done as promised, on time and on budget and who bring good ideas and suggestions to the table and clearly want to deliver the best knife possible. I make most of the Leafstorm 824 grip overlays in my shop and can add more whenever I have an idea, so it's really the best of both worlds.Waiting on mine to come in! Are you possibly going to get into making grips again for any production knives like benchmade mini griptilians or any others?
Makes perfect sense. Received my Leafstorm yesterday and it’s amazing! I got the flames version and added blue anodized ones too! Awesome knife and looking forward to your next knife or knives. EDC type knives are my favorite. Great job with this knifeNo, I don't expect to ever make anymore grips for production knives.
