*****THIS IS A BUSSE (INFI) TWEANER.******* .019 **********
Let me start off by saying I really hate to see her go, BUT....I want to buy the wife a nice Christmas present.
She has a satin finish with black Micarta slabs. I'm pretty sure she mics out at .019. I have cut nothing with her. She has never been sharpened. I have fondled her but for all intents and purposes...she's a virgin! She comes just as I bought her from Hammy a few years back at the Columbus Gun Show with a cardboard sheath.
As it stands right now the first,"I'll take it here rule applys." I reserve the right to pull this from the sale at any time.
I'm asking $335.00 for this INFI slicer.
This would include shipping/insurance to the CONUS ONLY. Also I need the funds to be in the form of a Postal Money Order.

The only trade that I would consider at this time would be for a Bark River Gunny w/black Micarta slabs.

Gentlemen, I'm sorry but I do not have a camera at this time. I know that if I was in your shoes I would want pics also. If someone would like to help me out and post a pic of what they think she looks like I can agree. Can anybody help this po hillbilly out?

I thought the leaners were around .15 +/-??

If it is .19 it is not a leaner i dont think, someone please correct me if i am wrong.

If it is a true leaner, i want dibs.

IS IT FLAT OR SABRE GRIND?

Link us to a picture on HogCult's site so we can see what this is.

Interested in your blade but ......
Flat ground or Sabre? Micarta or black paper? Logo or no logo? Regular run or show?
With your Gold Membership, you should be able to search the Busse threads and find a photo of what your looks like and post it here.

Original Leaners are approx. .150" & Meaners are approx. .220"... It might help your sale to recheck the thickness on yours to be sure of accuracy. Dobywon's question of sabre grind vs. full height grind is a good one also. Original Leaners are sabre ground. Another question is: What version of the Busse logo is on your knife for sale here?

I can't be sure without pix, but it sounds like you might have a newer model "Tweener" Meaner Street for sale here... "Tweener" (unofficial nickname) meaning that its thickness is between the two original Meaner Street variations. Ain't nothing wrong with that as it's a good thickness on this model.

These 2 in the pic below are both satin finished "Tweener" Meaner Streets @ around .187" thick that I scored recently ( both not for sale). Are these close to what you are selling here?

Mr. Jaxx, I do believe you might be right. The cardboard sheath has LMS written on it in ink pen. I think Hammy wrote that on her when I bought it. Mine does look like the ones in your pics only with black canvas instead of black paper.
I thought "Tweaner" was a nickname?

IIRC, "Tweener" or "Tweaner" or even "TMS" are nicknames that we Busse forumites came up with to distinguish the difference of this newer thickness version of the Meaner Street from the others. Not really sure who gets the credit for it but I've never really heard anyone from Busse call them this, so that's why I say the nickname is more or less unofficial. :)

There are no dibs..."I'll take it", RULES! Note price increase. (Price increase due to everybody and their brother trying to lowball me.)

I know if I had posted "I'll take it" and recieved a tweener instead of a leaner I would have been very dissapointed.

Its best to do a little reasearch to what your selling so you are not misrepresenting something like what has been done here.

Price increase dropped. IF you buy it thinking shes a Tweaner (.019) and it's not, I'll give a money back guarantee. If you have VERY GOOD HISTORY/FEEDBACK, I'll ship, you receive, then you can pay me!

This is exactly what I have. Same exact logo. Only difference is mine is satin with black canvas Micarta and she is totally available for purchase. Thank you Mr. Jaxx.
