Leap of faith: First straight razor setup

Straight razor shaving is for those who enjoy sharpening. It's the apex of sharpening a tool to it's highest level. Then using it for it's intended purpose. There's a certain sense of accomplishment that rides with it and not so with DE shaving. DM

That is an excellent way to put it. To persue straight-razor shaving, you have to be seeking more than just a great shave. If you do see to prove that level of mastery in your life, then straight-razor is for you.
