Depends on how they define "Ads."

Are they talking paid advertisements? Or are they talking general ads that anyone may post, like posting a link to a BF sale thread?

Eh, it's only Facebook. As long as there are awesome places like this still catering to our obsession, I think we'll be ok.

FB is way overrated, anyway.

Facebook is The Hive. Of course they are going to be that way.

EDIT: Love this one:
Images of weapons are generally acceptable, as long as the weapon is not pointed directly at the person seeing it.

What can you say.... :(

I see hundreds of knives for sale on Facebook. It must be the administrator. Many knifemakers sell on Facebook as well as average collectors/accumulators.

I wouldn't classify that as discrimination, their site their rules. There is big money at play and they might not want to get into legal problems or lose money by allowing something that the general populous might find offensive or distasteful or anti "whatever" in pursuit of their own agenda.

Hmmm.... seems odd.
I'm a member of a local facebook group for buying and selling guns, so I'm constantly seeing guns for sale on facebook. They also allow hunting and camping equipment; knives, bows, ect.
There was even a gun shop that posted a "like and share" giveaway of a 1911. I of course liked and shared. :)
