Looks great to me, I like when knives look beat up.

I like the look or whatever, but if you wanted to fully convex it, then I'd say that you haven't even gotten half-way. More grinding!

You picked a difficult blade shape for your first try at convexing. A blade with less belly would have been a little easier.
Live and learn. I've been there all too often.
