The 'Stuff' is now gone folks
thanks for your kind emails and PM's
they are, as always, very encouraging
and I do appreciate the friendships I've
made through my leather work over the years!

howdy, as a lot of you know, I make sheaths from time to time
mostly folder sheaths now. But I feel it's time for me to change
a bit, I tried to stop a while back and friends convinced me otherwise
they were kind hearted and I appreciated their views, but I'm feeling
a change in my passion and need to move to something else for a while.

SO, I have a slew of things forsale, but want to make it a batch deal
kind of thing and local delivery would be handier, anywhere close to
Elmira NY I'd be willing to drive and hand over the legacy ;)

I'll get some shots up tonight as I can of what's involved but basically
many hand tools, some very old that you can't get any longer from anywhere
two hides, 6/7 oz and 7/8 oz, very good leather from Wickett & Craig.

Sewing stuff and things, plus dyes and stuff, I keep saying stuff as there is
a lot of stuff ;)

Price for the kit and kaboodle is $250 plus shipping, rather not ship due to
the stuff part of it and the leather, but we can work that out if need be.
one bit is a 12" by 12" by 2" thick marble slab

Thanks and keep a watch out for the photos, email me at chiseledge@yahoo.com if you have questions.

Thanks guys/gals,
G2

WOW, tough to photograph your life!
a lot of things, more not shown here
it's a lot for a little, not shown is of course
the two hides left, plus more tools and misc stuff
in this photo you see may tools, a lot of embossing
tools and leather working tools, just a LOT of things!!!

This link will take you to a much larger image of this one shown;

Thanks for checking,

They've been cut into and are not full size, so a little harder to
figure in what they would cost, still a lot of leather left though and
that $250 for the whole deal including them certainly makes it
too good a deal, hmmmm as you can tell I didn't add this all up
properly, it just hit me this evening to do this, the two hides themselves
ran me close to the $250 alone!

I'd rather try to do the whole bit and be done for now, this way who
ever takes over will have something to start with.
Thanks though
G2

Some more shots of the 'stuff'

that's a square resting on top of the leather there;

I understand. I am mainly focusing on period correct western gun leather at the moment, so I don't need any stamps right now(Plus I am still learning just how to put stuff together lol). I will keep an eye on the thread if you decide to separate.

Please guesstimate total shipping to Tulsa ( zip 74133) and inform me of total. I am interested in the whole package, and am flexible on timing, not time critical at this end.

VERY interested, please, thank you.

My email is mitchshrader@gmail.com Please email me for a ph #.

my last name does NOT have a " C " in it.

dunno why folks so often misspell it.

Mitch, dunno why folks add a 'C' in your name either...

But I had another fellow, from Texas, also ask for the kit
but it will be a fairly heavy bill to ship all of this someplace
so I'm going to have to try and sell this locally I'm afraid.
Otherwise it would be too costly for someone to take, unless
they have a great account with UPS or something like that?

Not often, but I'm just down the road from you on Route 17 new highway 86
work in Elmira NY, be willing to meet some where in the middle...
G2

Mr. Graley,

Meeting somewhere in the middle is very doable.

What is your timing on your sale? I don't think that I would be able to meet you until after hunting season.

If you are amenable, I could send you a deposit, and complete the transaction after hunting season.

Best regards,

Chris

Chris, we can do that, I'll mark it sold and start getting things into
a couple of boxes to hand off to you when you are ready to meet
maybe someplace around Liberty NY?

email to me at chiseledge@yahoo.com

Thanks,
G2

Chris, I haven't gotten the email from you yet, but in the meantime
I received an email reminder that this other person had emailed me first
and so I need to honor that, I've replied back to him asking to reply to me
as soon as possible and I'll post the result right away, sorry for the
interruption !
G2

I've been cajoled by friends to hang on to my stuff and this downdrums
I'm in will pass and I would miss not having this stuff, they are most
likely right as I attempted to do this a few years ago too...
So, I'm going to pull the thread and sale for now and just rest my brain
and see what the next few months will bring.
Sorry to bother those that were interested in the equipment.
Gotta get the brain screwed on a little straighter, a few months may help...
