Leather belt carrier for folder/mag block

Nice job. I too make my own sheaths and carriers. I took it up about twenty years ago and its very rewarding to roll your own.

Still at home for the second day but I have some hardcore antibiotics so I should be fit as a fiddle in a day or two.

The thing I like about the sheath is it looks to work real well for carrying everyday. Staying on the rat3 theme, the sheath that came with mine was very nice and well made but carries like crap. Chris

My son (6) really thought my new knife sheath was cool, and he likes that it smells like honey from the beeswax mixture. So yesterday I surprised him with a smaller version set up for a small Zebu and a BSA Hotspark. I showed it to him while the leather was still drying and he wore it around yesterday. This morning I treated it with wax so he'll get it when he gets home from school. The hotspark is in there very tight, I doubt he'll be able to get it out on its own, but it should loosen up a bit.

I also solved my retention problem on the big sheath very simply. I made up a matching belt slide/clip that can be used alone to hang the knife in a pocket or upside down to use as a retainer on the sheath. Here is a photo of the pair. We be stylin' now. Mac
