Hey All,

I just opened a box of 2X72 belts, which is always fun. The leather belt really thins out right in front of the seam. Most of the belt is almost right at .110 Right before the seam it is .055 on one side and .075 on the other. Past the seam it is .100 evenly and then back into .110.

The more I look at it the more I know it can't be right - it will bump and wobble like crazy. It's the first leather belt I have picked up and I would expect some imperfections with natural materials, but this seems to be an issue with the finishing and not the material.

Unless someone tells me they are all that bad, I am sending it back.

I have a 1x42 leather belt and is not like that at all. It's a nice consistent thickness and tracks very true.

Erik,
Hope they take care of you. I've been wanting to play a leather belt for a while now, looking forward to hearing about your results.

Talk to you soon bud!

Thanks Jon,

It will work it out one way or another. But when I get a flat belt, I'll let you know what I think of it.
