Howdy folks-
I thought I'd go straight to the source for an answer on this one!
I recently picked up a [badass] hawk from Kentucky. But I need an edge cover for it! I can do some basic leather work, nothing fancy or pretty. I've done a couple of sheaths and such. I just don't want to deal with the stitching!
In the search for something quick and dirty, I was thinking about using rivets. But I've never used them.
First, are rivets alone sufficient? (with glue)
Second, anyone tried doing just a 'weave' of a leather strip? Think this would hold, or just end up getting cut off?
