I know you weren't deliberately spamming; it can be a fine line between discussion and advertising and hard to see the difference when you're not familiar with the forum's policy....

While I'm here I want to tell everybody Gitch-U has changed his username to Cousin Jack and become a Gold Member, so now he can post ads in the For Sale section. :cool:
 
Those look really nice, good job. I've made some out of paracord, but I like the look of the leather ones more.

Question, though: how do you get that closed loop anyway? I've tied them right around keychains which works fine, but the only way I've figured out to get a closed loop at the end for more versatility comes out looking huge and misshapen at the top. What knot are you using to start, or is it a separate piece of cord?

Ted,

I use a separate piece of cord. Depends on the size of the finished project. I usually take the free ends of the piece of cord and superglue about a quarter inch of them together, then burn the ends together. Then I'll start the sinnet around the cord. I usually wrap about a half inch to an inch of the separate cord into the sinnet to lock it together. It's been pretty stable so far.
