Joe or CJ,

I just got a new 532 MS and it is great. However, I work in an office setting, and the sheath on a belt just won't fly. I have an Al Mar my wife bought me 16 years ago that came with a glove leather slip case and it has kept it in great shape. I've been experimenting with some scap leather to make one for the 532. Have you given any thought to offering slip cases for some of the new limited edition releases? The 532 is about as big as I would want to carry, but it's something to think about.

Doug,

I like those types of sheaths too. I really don't like anything hanging from my belt except my britches. I will tell our special projects department to keep it in mind. Who knows?

Take care,

Doug,

I've posted this same lament several times before. Buck has previously said they'd take it under advisement, but.... Anyhow, Gary Graley made up two puches for me. And they work great. Simple fold over pouches that protect the knife quite nicely and allow a "gentleman's pocket carry".

Thanks guys, Now let me show my lack of learning. Who is Gary Garley and how do I get in touch with him? The design sounds just like the one I have made up, but I'm sure his is more "finished". I did make some in different colors of leather since that's what came in the scrap bag from the hobby store. Green, black, tan, brown. But no red to store my new 2000 model in. I'm using the green one for my MS 532.

Thanks again for the tips. Maybe Joe will take note this time. The suggestion holds for any of the 532 or smaller pocket knives that are being made in limited editions or special handle materials.

Thought I might better post a reply to this, as I appreciate the referrals but the slip sheaths I made for Bald1 and Kodiak PA were a one time deal, as I don't normally handle the lighter leather that these sheaths require, just the heavier stuff on my page.

Thanks just the same though, and I've marked it down in my book to get one of these 532's as soon as the funds make themselves available!

Check out the new clip cases made by William Henry Knives. The case made for the T12 (the large one) fits the 532 very nicely.

It has a nice, skeletonized stainless steel clip attached to the case and the whole affair clips to the pocket. You can carry the knife clipped to the pocket without the knife having a clip attached.

The leather is a little stiff out of the package but softens up nicely with a little Neatsfoot oil or Mink oil.

I think you have an extra . at the end of your link, here is one that works, this was one of the first Sheath pages I had ever seen when I started going on the internet, they certainly look soft and inviting.
