Leather Sheath for RC 4

Whats the way to go for some nice leather sheaths for my RC 4. I have the Kydex mounted on my body armor and I just wanted a nice leather sheath so i dont have to dismount the kydex every time I want to use my knife off duty

I was thinking something that sat horizontally on my belt I am not sure about the whole fire starter I like the fire starter but it is by no means mandatory on the sheath . I am kinda ignorant about leather sheaths so ideas are great. lmk what works and does not. Preesh

Ah ok, now we're getting better focus. :) Horizontal works well for a knife that size.

You could go with a Randall style pouch with either a dedicated horizontal loop or an X loop for that and vertical as well. Heres a Randall style pouch:

This one has a canted carry loop, but an X loop is an easy alternative.

Yea, I know, more time workin', less time playin' :o

The X loop is my all time favorite way to carry, so versatile.

Semi Production- that which is stitched on my manual machine- 2-3 weeks

Custom work- I started the orders placed in July, and making headway on that, unless one of those crazy complicated orders comes in again. :o

Please dont hold me to these figures as stuff happens and things change.

Works well for me. :D Almost every sheath Leatherman has made for me is that style. The pouch sheath in the pic he made for me most recently keeps the knife close to the body so it doesn't snag on anything when you are going thru thick brush. And like all Dwayne's stuff, durable as hell. Not to mention fits the knife like it was kydex. You can hang this baby upside down and it won't fall out but it is easy to draw the knife.
