Leather Sheath Makers?? -

I have really agonized over this. I saw no makers work I would not like to have. It hurts me that I can only choose one for this knife. I am truely sorry it has to be this way. However, as stated above, I will ask those others later as I make more knives.

Finally I narrowed it down to two: Tess Neilson and Chuck Burrows.

For this particular knife it is Chuck Burrows (Wild Rose).

Thank you all and I'll be back to you later.

Roger

Roger-
I will do it proud. It's nice to be one in a series of five and I think Dwayne's suggestion is a neat one with in the parameters of the individual makers.

Look forward to working with you.

Chuck

Chuck,

You will have license to make it the way you feel best for this particular knife, so long as it doesn't break the bank (a very small bank).

Roger

There's no doubt that Chuck will do you proud. He is one of the guys that us new guys try to learn from.

I will leave this as my last word: Sincerely, I would have made a good decision by choosing any of you.

Roger

Ringer---You rang the bell on your choice of Chuck Burrows as a sheath maker for your knife. Better work you will not find! I must confess that the choice of any of the other makers mentioned would also created quite a jingle. I am an admirer of all and would be somewhat amiss if I failed to recommend all---Sandy

Since he's probably too modest to say so himself, also note that Sandy is one of the true masters.
I've been looking at sheaths he's done for jerry Hossom and Dave Evans and they are just gorgeous.

I am excited about it. This is special. Now I feel even more pressure to lift up my end. Remember; I gotta make the knife. It needs to be up to snuff; maybe more than ever now. I asked for it. Lord, don't let me screw up.
