Any recommendations? I know there is a thread similar to this right now in this section, but I am willing to send the knife out, and I am not a maker or dealer. I just got a nice custom nessie from Dan Koster, and wanted a nice leather sheath for it. I would rather give my business to a forum member, but need some recommendations. What I'm looking for is a scabbard-style sheath, with snap retaining strap, kydex-lined. No special tooling or inlays on this one. Anyone know a good leather sheath maker (besides the great Kenny Rowe), help me out. Thanks.

I just got some great sheaths made for me by JRE industries. Just google the name and you will get their url.

First let me state for the record, that is one fine looking Heavy duty Nessie. You might try the forum member leatherman, he does great work according to feedback from satisfied forum members. I do not have any of his stuff...yet. I'm sure he can fix you up. I checked his web site out and he does just about anything you might desire.

Ken C. does a great job at making leather sheaths. He just completed the nicest sheath, I have seen in some time for my Linger WSK.:D:thumbup:

Don't forget Dave of Lifter's Leather- forum name Lifter4Him, I believe. :)

Another vote here for Ken C. Not only was the sheath awesome, but he is great to deal with.

How's that working out for you by the way? :D

Ken,
I was thinking about you, I've actually been to your website. I wasn't sure if you did kydex inserts for your sheaths. Let me email you, and we can discuss it. And Pitdog, that's right you have my twin. Had a chance to break it in yet? Mine is a great slicer in the kitchen, but have not put it through its paces outside yet.
