What do you use on your leather sheaths after you have them stained an
sewed ? do you put something on liketan coat, wax, or something else?

My routine is dye, then same color shoe polish, then mink oil.

Leather sheen or Resolene to seal. I prefer Neetsfoot oil because it's not a shiny.

Some people like to soak the sheath in wax, even liquid bees wax. I, like TekSec, prefer neatsfoot oil. It is a natural product from, as you may guess, cows. It is also very good at conditioning leather. It makes it more suple. One thing to consider some leather products may have a negative effect on your blade. This is why I prefer the natural stuff.

I have tried several things. My favorite, is to apply plain neetsfoot inside and out, rubbing the outside by hand, seems to put some life into the leather. Let dry for a couple of days. Then hand rub with a little bit of beeswax. Simple.

I'll use Leather sheen mosly
I prefer not to use Neat's-foot oil , for me tends to soften the leather to much and I want it stiffer rather than not..
this is with Leather sheen.
it does shine some..
