Leather Sheaths Pic Thread

No skin off my nose man. I didn't go to bed till almost 4 so I was still awake, hence my posting in this thread. :D

I'll throw my hat into the ring. These are both purchased sheaths. The BK2 sheath is from an Alces alces with an affinity for .45's, and the BK7 sheath is from JRE Industries.

The sheath on the right looks pretty interesting, like a horisontal bushcrafter, never seen one like it before.

Doc, Is that yours or a stock pic from Sky? Eithr way its very nice, The fero rod holder is interesting too, how well does it hold in place? Guessing good right? Haha.

No, it's Skystorm's picture. I would like to see how it sits on a belt when being worn.

Doc

Damn, Mike, do you even carry that sheath anymore? Not a scratch on it, must be a safe queen. :D

Brother, I've been back in school full time for the last two years. I can count on one hand the times I've been on the trail since I started. Admittedly, it hasn't seen the use it deserves yet. Not that it would matter really, cuz I could pound tent stakes with that thing and not even scratch it...

Here's a couple of sheathes I made for my Beckers.

Bk9 moo pants with a front pocket and quick release belt loop with a dangler D-ring.

And this leather belt sheath for a Bk11. This started out as a necker, more like neck breaker :) as it proved too heavy ...hence the add on belt loop. Might try making another Bk11 sheath later as this ones a Frankenstein looking thing.

Just got this from Sky...already had an old timer (well, "older" timer) offer me what I paid for it and a nice buck 119 for it...kept the cow..

All my Nix Leather stuff. The BK2 sheath and Fire kit pouch are untouched. The BK9 sheath I have stripped down to just the plain sheath and it's shiny black now. The BK9 sheath was one of his earlier ones...you can tell by the stitching alone how quickly he got good. Even with the rough stitches on the 9 sheath, the fit is absolutley perfect.

I have a Skystorm sheath for my BK9. Can't say enough great things about how amazing this sheath is! Wore it around the yard on Saturday since I trimmed the shrubs with the 9.
