OK I saw Extreme Home Makover last night and saw something I thought would be interesting for Sheath Making and was wondering if anyone had tried it before.

In the show they were making a headboard that had Leather Inserts (3 of them) The house was for a Pastor who was also a Biker. They then took the leather to a tattoo parlor and had the artist there tattoo the leather. It looked great when it was finished, and I was wondering if anyone had done that for a sheath before. It would be an expensive sheath but man the possibilities.

Here are two pics first one is of the bed and the second one is of the leather that was Tattoo'd
The other pieces are wings one in each direction they didnt have a pic of that on their site.

I think that bed needs about five more pillows---then the pastor can sleep on the floor---and dream about motorcycles. I would assume that the gentleman(?) is a pastor in an affluent area? The double door entrance to the bedroom looks as though it might be for the grand finale-----------

Pretty nice work, but using a tattoo artist for leather seems way over the needed edge. It would be just as easy and a lot cheaper to use paint designed for leather to get the same effect. Hey Dad, bet you've had a few of those "grand finales".
