Leather Wallet

I got my Cape Buffalo wallet when I got back from vacation last week. It is bigger than I expected but I really like it. It came somewhat distressed as part of the look. I will try to post some pictures later tonight to give a size comparison.

I like the zippered wallets (bifold) sold through Brookstone stores. They have an online catalog. Lost a credit card once because it fell out of a loose fitting card holder slot. Went with the zippered design and not a problem any more. Don't over load these as the zipper will rip out.

I will only use a small, slim, black leather wallet for the same purposes as you. My CWP is a little wide (a little more than a CC), so I need to be careful to make sure my wallet will allow it to fit inside.

I couldn't find my exact model on their site, but this is the closest I could find.

Here are some pictures of the Cape Buffalo Wallet. So far I really like it...

Note the old wallet is empty and they would have been about the same thickness...

KH, the cape buffalo looks like a good sturdy wallet. How is the stitching inside and along the seams?

I have have alot of wallets...I mean alot. Most gifts, some I bought, etc. etc. The cape buffallo wallet is really pretty nice for the money but IMO is better with jeans than a suit. If you want a dress wallet I would take a serious look at:
-Salvatore Ferragamo- most are split pretty thin but still tough enough to last forever
-Louis Vuitton- I especially like the Taiga leather line which are expensive but extremely durable
-Gucci- some of the Guccissima is really awesome
I like Hartmann but unfortunately alot, if not all of their stuff is being made in China now, same thing with Mulholland and Tumi. Filson and Orvis also make really nice (albeit similar) wallets that are exceptionally well made but again, are more for jeans than a suit.
