Leatherface asked me to shoot a couple of pics of the sheath he made for his JKM. I've got to say, this thing is sweet. Here are 3 quick pics, while I am home for lunch. Front, back, and worn cross-draw on an old fat dude (me).:) I'll let Leatherface comment on it when he comes around. I'm not sure if the sheath is made for "small of the back" or side carry. I liked it weak side or cross-draw. Very secure hold of the knife, and good workmanship.

Guys I am stunned at your response...To have my work look at by you guy's is truly an honor...

All I can think so say is thank you for your kind words...

Specifics..

Steve...Yup it is designed as a crossdraw...I really like that design for a knife and I am working on one for a larger knife right now that doesnt cost an arm and a leg...err maybe just an arm;)

Nasty...Sorry that one is already sold (cant tell ya who bought it) :D

Norm...Missed?? nah just let me know when you have another Antler BDC for sale and we can talk about me finding ya one..lol

Small run?? I will have to get back to ya on that one...If ya need one PM me and we can work something out...If I had gotten that DOTD antler Kumar Karda THEN I might consider it more though and at ALOT less $$$ ..lol

Andy, I got the email...Sharpening your sarge knife?? really?? guess what I have coming from Alaska??? muahahahahahaha<~~~demented laughter!

Munk...Old and new is what I was going for...thank you

Thanks Mike!!:D

YVSA,
I think I know what you are saying...Are you talking about a border within a border type???If you have a pic I could see I would appreciate it

My next project I am working on now, will be a small sheath for my sarge knife (that is alot prettier than ANDY'S!!!:p ) that has 2 different border's and 2 different stamps or tooling around the border...Dont know how it will look, but should be fun

Err that is once I get caught back up...Gotta make some money to support my habit ya know?

Sheath making is alot more fun than making a pocket book for some reason..lol

I am new to tooling so I will take any suggestion I can get, and thanks for the suggestion...;)

I gotta get me a swivel knife...Cutting lines with a regular knife isnt very fun at all!!

I've been using an exacto knife to cut the leather. Yvsa, great tip as usual. I've been wondering about my borders.

I'm glad you have a Sarge Knife now Dave. You're official and everything now.

Class move RWS. Great job.

YVSA,
Yuppers that is what I thought you were talking about...Hmmm single border with basketweave...Might have to try that one

2 borders on a sarge sheath..hmm sounds like a sweet challenge for yours truly :D

makes my hands ache just thinking about it

Dang great tip Yvsa. Thanks. I'm glad you had a pic and went into detail. I googled "Swivel Knife" and I'll check those out. I found a Tandy just a few minutes from work, and the lady there is helpful. I gotta order more leather. I'm out.
